What is SkillBridge?

SkillBridge is a DoD-approved program that allows active-duty service members to gain valuable civilian work experience during their last 180 days of military service.

Instead of traditional military duties, you can train with a trusted industry employer in a real-world environment that aligns with your career goals.

Through SkillBridge, service members retain full military compensation and benefits while developing the expertise, certifications, and experience to jump-start a civilian career.

To qualify for our SkillBridge program, you must:

  • Be an active-duty service member with command approval

  • Be committed to pursuing a civilian career in aviation maintenance or related fields

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail
