What Makes a True FAA-Approved PMA House?

Understanding FAA PMA and PAH Approval

Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) is the FAA’s certification that an organization can design and produce aircraft parts meeting the same rigour as those from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

As a Production Approval Holders  (PAH) operating under 14 CFR Part 21 Subpart K, we maintain strict controls over design, manufacturing, inspection, and release.

Each article we deliver can be accompanied by the FAA Form 8130-3, providing full traceability, global acceptance and peace of mind.

The Advantage of In-House ODA

Holding Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) means our team can perform certain FAA functions internally rather than relying on external authorities.

With engineering, production, and certification authorities working side by side, approval cycles run faster, communication is simplified, and integration is tighter.

For our customers, that means fewer delays, fewer surprises, and a smoother path to delivery.

The Aerospace Design & Compliance Difference

From Concept to Certified Component

Our engineering, certification and manufacturing teams collaborate from day one. Design decisions feed directly into production planning, certification strategy, and testing.

Because each function shares the same facility and quality system, transitions are seamless and re-work is minimised.

The result: fully certified, installation-ready components delivered on schedule.

Precision Manufacturing Capabilities

We offer wire-harness fabrication, sheet-metal forming, and CNC machining, composite and metallic assemblies, and custom kitting solutions.

Our in-house engineering supports integration, installation, and testing support, ensuring the parts leave our facility ready for service.

Each process aligns with FAA standards and maintains control and repeatability.

Installation, Testing and Support Services

Beyond manufacturing, we provide testing, validation, and installation support services.

Whether deployed onsite or at our facility, our teams follow approved procedures under Part 43 or via certified repair-station partnerships.

This ensures each component meets the airworthiness standards and, more importantly, is ready to perform.

Why PMA Parts Are the Smart Alternative

PMA vs OEM: Cost, Compliance and Quality

Choosing PMA parts offers more than cost savings. Our PMA components meet the same performance standards as OEM equivalents, backed by FAA oversight and full documentation. Many operators realise 30 to 50 percent savings while maintaining full traceability and compliance. PMA parts aren’t second-class — they’re often smarter alternatives when quality and delivery matter.

Solving Supply-Chain Challenges

In today’s aviation market, lead-time and availability define program success. By integrating design, certification and production in one facility, we reduce supply-chain risk and shorten schedules. When OEM parts face backlogs or cost inflation, our vertically-integrated model stands ready — delivering parts without compromise.

Who We Serve

We support a wide range of customers across aerospace and aviation:

OEMs seeking certified subcontract manufacturing, MROs and repair stations needing traceable replacement parts, air carriers and operators looking for reliable components with FAA Form 8130-3 certification, and defence or R&D programmes requiring turnkey design-to-production solutions.

Regardless of mission scale, Aerospace Design & Compliance delivers precision, compliance, and performance you can trust.

Compliance You Can Count On

Built on FAA Standards

Every part we produce carries the marking FAA-PMA and is manufactured according to 14 CFR Part 21 and Part 45 regulations.

Our documentation, traceability, release processes and internal controls comply with FAA and international aviation requirements.

Quality and Accountability

Our production operations are routinely reviewed and monitored under FAA oversight.

We maintain strict internal inspection, verification, and release protocols to ensure each component meets the required performance and airworthiness standards.

For your aircraft and your mission, there are no shortcuts.
